The Helena area is located halfway between Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks and is surrounded by mountains in all directions for hiking, hunting, camping, and exploring. For boating and fishing enthusiasts, there are three major lakes (Holter, Hauser, and Canyon Ferry) and the Missoure River within a half hours drive, along with many other Blue Ribbon trout streams within 1 to 2 hours.
